Timber Mill Grange, RG7

Timber Mill Grange is a location steeped in history, offering a striking contrast between elegance and industrial heritage. At its centre stands a derelict four-story 18th-century water mill, with the river flowing directly through its core, available for exteriors and interior shoots. Inside, period timber machinery remains untouched, providing an atmospheric backdrop that captures the essence of a long-abandoned industry. Adjacent to the mill, the Georgian main house sits amid manicured lawns and a vast kitchen garden. In the summer months, this space bursts with flowers, fruit, and vegetables, creating a vibrant, pastoral setting. The river cuts through the landscape, shifting from the neat lawns with a red brick jetty to dense woodland with hidden clearings and an ancient bridge. Timber Mill Grange offers two distinct worlds: the refined charm of a Georgian country house with grand high-ceilinged rooms and idyllic river views alongside the haunting, cavernous beauty of the abandoned mill, making it a versatile and evocative setting for film and photoshoots.
