Showman’s Acres, BA4
Showman’s Acres’ scale of distinctive filming options and large crew facilities make it an impressive and rare find in the South West of England.
The extent of the 200+ acres of grounds provide vistas sweeping across fields to the landscape beyond. From rolling parkland with areas of meadow flowers and woodland cut through with winding accessible tracks to cavernous warehouses and large hardstanding expanses, this location is very well set for large-scale film production due to its multi-location offering and being a well-serviced site.
It is home to an imposing Grandstand with seating as well as modern warehouses varying in size and style including one with a viewing platform to really take in the impressive surroundings. Showman’s Acres also offers further unusual options from a fully equipped conference centre and built in theatre to small cabins dotted about the landscape. And if that wasn’t enough, it also boasts its very own working miniature railway.
