Oldminster Estate, SP6
Oldminster Estate is a rare location, where history stands still. At its heart stands a striking Elizabethan manor house, set within 3,000 acres of sweeping parkland, offering far reaching views over meadows, woodlands, water meadows, a river, and marshlands. Scattered throughout the estate are distinctive structures, from a hidden woodland folly, an ancient Saxon church ruins, rare saddle stone barns to an elegant clocktower beside the main house. The manor itself boasts meticulously preserved, historically staged rooms perfect for filming and photoshoots. Delve deeper, and you’ll uncover original features like the partially accessible secret tunnel leading from the house to the church and beyond. What truly sets Oldminster apart, however, is its perfectly preserved country village museum. This extraordinary space includes a vast collection of post-war props and staged sets, featuring a period-accurate school, dairy, blacksmith, and much more. With its diverse landscapes and an unparalleled selection of historical backdrops, Oldminster Estate is a one-stop destination for period filming and photoshoots.
