Lords Farm, AL8
Set amongst the wide open fields of Hertfordshire, Lords Farm is an idyllic oasis exuding refined charm and character. The Grade 2 Victorian farmhouse, dating back to the early 19th century, is steeped in history having once been owned by Lord Melbourne, one of Queen Victoria’s favourite Prime Ministers. These illustrious connections have been sensitively preserved in the neatly kept house and gardens, which include a tranquil wildlife pond complete with swing, orchard and charming red brick and timber courtyard stables. Lords Farm is a great option for a location shoot looking for something that evokes more ‘genteel times’ and all within easy access to the M25 and major studios.
