Flour Plot, RH6

Flour Plot is home to a fully restored working windmill, originally dating back to the early 1700’s. Sat within a couple of acres of remote countryside, on the edge of a village, the windmill is available to hire both inside and out. Covering four floors of internal space, original external and internal staircases take you further up the building, with the roundhouse at the base hosting a small visitor centre inside.

FACILITIES AT FLOUR PLOT

During the summer months, there’s plenty of parking onsite, however when it is wet, there is some road parking available. Space inside of the mill is limited so if larger production requirements are needed, there is plenty of outdoor field space available to set up temporary crew base options. There are no toilet or kitchen facilities.

There are local catering companies, dine-in foods options and accommodation, all within 1 mile of Flour Plot.

GETTING TO THE WINDMILL

Trains run from London to Gatwick train station (35 mins). With easy access to taxis and buses outside the station, Flour Plot is only 4.5 miles from Gatwick station.

Central London is approximately 1 hour 15 mins by car.
