Mini Boden’s photo shoot tour has ended as planned in Kent today. The Boden team have been on tour shooting for their new Kids Autumn collection, starting in South Africa, then East Sussex and today they have based themselves on one of Farm Locations’ farms at Brick House Farm, near Ashford.
It may be a little bit wet out there, but Mini Boden’s new range of pretty wellies and rain coats have had a field day in the squelchy fields, and the kids have had a lot of fun in the straw and on the tractor. And it’s not just been the kids having fun. The production team have turned up the music more than once and had a dance!
The restored vintage tractor, a classic Massey Ferguson 135 has taken pride of place, fitting in perfectly on the idyllic small holding with its lovely old barns and unspoilt pastures. Restored beautifully by its owner Tom and his dad, the tractor is a collector’s item, but still works hard when Tom competes at competitive ploughing matches, across the country.
Rob and Caroline, the owners of Brick House Farm, have been great hosts today, warming us up with a delicious Moussaka for lunch. And the Boden team have been a real pleasure to have down on the farm – really friendly and full of beans!
Mini Boden chose Brick House Farm, Kent for a stills photography kids fashion shoot. Here at Farm Locations, we coordinated much of the day’s location requirements, including sourcing the catering, taxis, animals, chickens, the vintage tractor and bales of straw. Our many farming and local connections come in handy, and we’d like to think we have made the production process that little bit easier for the producers at Boden.
