National Geographic’s ‘A Real Bug’s Life’ for Disney+ chose Cherry Farm as a key location in its epic tale on a miniature scale. It follows the lives of a variety of bugs across a multitude of locations. Episode 5 ‘The Busy Farm’ is dedicated to life on a farm for a bee and other bugs.
Filmed on location at Cherry Farm in Hertfordshire, the film crew worked closely with the farmer in a labour of love, returning to the location across the seasons, with multiple filming days dotted across June 2021 to June 2023.
